My Birthday Snowflake

I took 15 photos of this and it still looks slightly brown in the centre and its not IRL! Today has been one of the most frustrating creating days ever! I had a fantastic day, got to get outside, exercised, perfect andI even had 2 hours to play in my craftroom and NOT one thing went right. Nothing got done! I lost count on how many times I re-cut something and it still didn't work, I finally gave up. So I thought I'd show you what my favorite (and only, lol) husband made for me. He hand drew all of the images and letters and cut them out with a scroll saw. Each word and symbol on the snowflake had to be pre-drilled then the blade is inserted in the hole and cut, it takes forever! Then Robin painted the back and inside with blue and white AND then added stickles for glitter. IRL its absolutely gorgeous, thanks dear!

  1. Wow!! I am so amazed with this project!! I can't believe each image/letter was cut out! It's always hard to photograph things like this, but I can image it's so amazing in person because I think it's beautiful here!! TFS! HUGS

  3. Sorry you had a bad crafting day, things will be better tomorrow - lol. The picture does not do the snowflake justice as it is so wonderful IRL., however, it still looks darn good. He is one talented man!
