Baby Reindeer

Its the 15th and for Clear Dollar Stamps that means a new release! I got to play with this adorable digital patchpal reindeer with the added patch sentiments. The reindeer is actually a Christmas stamp and I "masked off" the candycane and ornament, then it becomes a baby stamp. I also took a used white paper bag and created this gorgeous baby bag. The one side with a very large reindeer and the other side a large sentiment.
I created the patchwork by taking two separate sheets of words and combining them. The paper is vellum so I put the vellum onto a white cardstock to give it strength. Then I used a paper piercer and mat pack from Stampin Up to poke zig zag holes. I joined them with a hunter green pen and I've got my stitching. Then I sponged sage shadow over top of it to take off some of the glaring white. I really like how it turned out! Pop on over to Clear Dollar Stamps and have a look at the newest stamps. I've entered this into Creative Card Crew with no flowers, Scrap-Creations anything goes, Papertake Weekly which is trio tastic (3 of something- I have pearls on the bag) and The Rubber Cafe with your favorite die
