You're Spoon-tacular

I'm back! I've been awol for over a week and it feels good to be posting again. My husband had shoulder surgery and its been a long 10 days, lol! He was feeling a little better so I gave him the get well card I made him, I posted it here. I had to wait for him to feel better before I gave him a nasty card, lol! He's on the road to recovery so I get to play again. Its the 15th and that means a new release at Clear Dollar Stamps! I chose to play with the Kitchen Clutter set. I printed the stamp out twice and cut them out twice, it gives the image a great 3d effect. I made the background by scoring very vanilla and then sponging it with creamy caramel. The spoon paper is part of the colour stamp set. Go on over and take a look at all the great stamps being released!
I've entered this into Totally Stampalicious anything goes, Your Next Stamp Challenge which is texture, and Catch the Bug Challenge to use 4 or more layers.

Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Kitchen Clutter, Stampin Up Simple Stripes
Paper: Stampin Up very vanilla, real red, basic black, whisper white, kitchen clutter colored
Ink: cherry cobbler, creamy caramel
Other: recollections mini brads, scor-pal

  4. Fabulous card Dawn, really like your background DP and the double layering of the spoons - gives them such a true shadow effect. Pretty good sentiment too! Love it!!
