Its off to school we go

I woke up to a nice chill in the air and bright blue sky, what a great day! The heat of summer is gone, the leaves will start to turn yellow soon and the kids are back to school. That is also the theme for Sentimental Sunday's challenge which Doodle Pantry is sponsoring today! I printed Book Ants  twice, coloured then cut out the book, pencil and apple to pop them up. I textured the creamy caramel paper with crackle embossing folder hoping it would look like the binding of a book. My husband said "Nope" doesn't look like a book to him. Oh well maybe next time, lol!
Hop on over to Sentimental Sundays and give the challenge a try. If you use a Doodle Pantry image you can enter our challenge as well, which is on until the 24th. Just for entering you receive a free image, this month its Mister Monkey!

I've entered this into:

Stamp: Doodle Pantry Book Ants, marble cube
Paper: early espresso, creamy caramel, whisper white

  2. Elizabeth is right, it does look like a book and the texturing is fabulous as always. Love the dimensional look of the image due to your popping up the book above the ants. You are just so good at that and it always looks awesome! Wonderful card, love it.
