Lemon Blueberry Muffins

Recently my DH was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I hadn't been doing much baking or cooking before the diagnoses but after found I needed to since gluten free baking is sooo expense and sometimes either heavy or dry. I have found some great recipes and because I lost one (a fantastic pastry, you couldn't tell that it was gluten free) and I LOST it I decided I'd better print them off. Sooo I'm creating my own recipe book and who says that it has to be boring. I printed off a lovely moist muffin recipe with my favourite Doodle Pantry characters of all time....the ants. I just love these guys and they will be featured on most of my pages.
Here's a closeup of the title.

  1. Fabulous idea, Dawn. This recipe looks so darn cute. I may steal this idea and do a family recipe book for our son/daughter-in-law.

  3. You are just so creative Dawn, you never cease to amaze me. Fabulous way to keep your fav recipes close at hand and the backup is they will be documented on the computer. I say this because I have been known to displace my recipe book(s):O)

  4. Can't wait to try this recipe...I hope you don't mind that I've saved it. I have been "crafting" some of my family's recipes also, I use a 6x6 scrapbook and decorate the page like it's a card. Seems I can keep track of that book better than my recipe book (and it looks nicer). I LOVE your choice of digistamps...perfect for muffins. LOL

  5. How original you are and what a great way to decorate the recipe pages. I usually just print mine out on plain white - BORING - but this is adorable and fun.

  6. More and more people are being diagnosed with this...wow...what did people do back before they were diagnosed with this...bless their hearts. I did a recipe book with images too and yes, it makes it so fun. I just didn't have the darling ants to help me so you have inspired me for my next recipes...haha For some reason, your posts are not coming to me...I'm a follower and have you on my bloglovin.
