Dream Away

Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Craft Your Passion and the challenge is Torn and Distressed Edges and may I say what a challenge it was for me! I very rarely do distressed cards because I'm not very good at it.
I printed and cut out Doodle Pantry's Dream Catcher and then popped up the whole image. I distressed all the papers but not the sentiments. I dug around in my jewellery bag and found some metal feathers I had left over from making my son's dream catchers years ago. I made three, one for each son and then two more for my niece and nephew, then I did a crossed stitched dream catcher for our living-room, I love them!
Even though I don't do distressed I do like how it turned out. Hop on over the Craft Your Passion and give the challenge a try. If you use a Doodle Pantry image you can also enter Doodle Pantry's challenge #23 and receive a free image just for entering!

Holiday Horn

I've had a busy weekend visiting my son, he lives 3 hours away, so this card was a really fast one. I like how it turned out but I don't like the stickles I added to the bow, it didn't turn out like I thought it would. I added real red chaulk to the main panel because it looked yellow compared to the background panel. I've entered this into:

Clearly Inspired: Christmas

Stamp: Doodle Pantry French Horn
Paper: real red, whisper white
Ink: none

Armadillo armor

Its November 1st and a new release for Doodle Pantry! There are a ton of new images and I got this cute little armadillo to play with. I've never seen a real armadillo before so had to do some research on google. I found two different coloured critters, one was a blue silver and one was more a golden yellow brown. However the yellow brown armadillo had lots of long hair on his legs, it looks hilarious! Both the brown and lighter blue paper are wallpaper which gives this card so much texture. Drop on over to all of the Design Team and see what they've created with their images! I've entered this into:

Dream Valley Challenge: anything goes

Stamps: Doodle Pantry Quirky Armadillo
