Flame Lily

Good morning, today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Pile It On and their theme is to use homemade embellishments. I used Doodle Pantry's newest release Flame Lily and printed it twice so I could pop up three of the leaves then fussy cut it. (thank goodness I have a really good magnifying glass!)

Good morning, its Day 2 of Catch the Bug's Christmas in July and today we have a sketch challenge.

I used Bugaboo's Snowman Topper which I printed off twice to pop up his body. Its a great sketch that's fast and easy.

Flying by to say hi

Good morning and Happy April Fool's Day! Really Mother Earth could have let this day go by but NOooo she had to play a trick on us. So yesterday it was gorgeous here with +18C weather, bright and sunny. Today it looks like this:

It's probably my fault, I was talking about taking the winter tires off the van (what was I thinking!). We're suppose to get approx. 10cm but it won't stay...long. 

Anyway today is the first of the month so a new Ants In My Pantry Digital Challenge. Its anything goes as long as the image is digital. I reversed the image and then added colour with prisma pencils. I'm really liking the CAS look!

Christmas Cactus

Good afternoon! Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketches this week which has a sketch and a twist. The twist is Bingo!

My bingo line is ribbon, embossing and flowers. I  printed off Doodle Pantry's Christmas Cactus colour three times so I could cut out the cactus and pop up the flowers. I really like how the cactus turned out but I don't think I would use the snowflake border again, its too open so doesn't showcase the flower as well as it should.
