Make It Snappy - Thanks a Bunch

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and its a photo challenge!

I chose to use the colour and flowers as my inspiration so used Bugaboo's Make It Snappy - Thanks a Bunch for my card. I printed the image twice so I could add flowers and make the image fuller. I had the image all coloured and was out shopping Thursday and spotted the perfect background paper! I almost never shop for paper but the stripes were perfect and wow, you should see the other side, gorgeous!

Witch Shoes

Good morning and welcome to Catch the Bug's Bingo challenge!

I did two rows, the first is the top with Orange and Black, Bling and Ribbon. But I also did 

Orange and Black, 3 layers and sentiment! I used Bugaboo's New Release Witch Shoes (which are sooo  gorgeous!) and printed them twice to pop up the ribbons. After embossing the black background with the spider web embossing folder I traced it with a Sakura glitter gel pen. I first tried sanding the web but I didn't get the effect I wanted.

I chose to do a diagonal row of die cut, 3-D object and 2 or more images. I merged two images, Bugaboo's Spring Elephant 2 with Cute Puppy and then printed them twice so I could pop up the elephant's head, puppy's head, the ladybug, snail and clouds.

Make a Wish

Good morning, today is Tuesday which means a new release at Bugaboo. Well this release image is so gorgeous! I took Make a Wish Dandelion and removed the sentiment and frame and made it one large card. I added a sakura glitter pen and stickles and popped up the butterfly. I LOVE this image!

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Stella Says Sketch and its a great sketch.

I turned the sketch upside down so the border is on the bottom and created this sympathy card I needed for a neighbour. I printed the Bugaboo Dragonflies on dp paper and then again on vellum. Coloured both in copics and cut out the vellum dragonflies to pop up. Added the grass on the bottom with the sentiment and it was done.

This month has been busier than last month if that's possible, come on September! My Dad's house is sold as of August 31, the cleaning and emptying has been done, thank goodness. I'm almost finished painting my son's condo, its a nice green instead of pink.  I'm so hoping I can have time for myself again, keep your fingers crossed! I did this snowboarding Birdie in March but never got around to posting... I must have known I'd need it now.

Hapthay Whinthur Whithsus

I'm so glad that July is over (it was long and exhausting) and its August which means a new release from Doodle Pantry! I got to work with Doodle Pantry's Winter Worm, LOL what a silly guy. The set comes with 7 sentiments and three images, 2 colour and 1 b/w. I used the outline and coloured mine then cut him out to pop him up. I put glitter on the pole to simulate frost and added stickles to all the snowflakes.

Here's a closeup of the sentiment and the frosted pole, so cute.
