Sun Birdies

Good morning! This week Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Sentimental Sundays and their challenge is Things with Wings plus a sentiment. I used a new Birdie stamp Summer Song Birdies which comes in b/w outline and colour, I used the outlines and coloured it myself. I was just going to leave it as one layer and not 3D it but after taking the photo I changed my mind. So this is the before photo...

and this is after I coloured a second stamp and cut out the wings, hats, flower and starfish to pop up. Makes such a difference it adds so much to the card!

Petite Bouquet

I was recently asked to make a card for a friends bridal shower. I LOVE this set from Doodle Pantry called Petite Bouquet, it comes in black/white outline as well as colour. I had very little time so chose the coloured set, printed it out twice to cut out flowers and pop them up. I added some stickles, border dies and done.

Send A Smile 4 Kids Canada

Good Morning! I have an exciting announcement to make, I'm now the Alberta coordinator for Send A Smile 4 kids Canada. Take a look at the announcement, it gives you information and most importantly the address to send cards too. If you have extra cards that would be perfect for a sick child I'd love to receive them and send them on to Stollery. If you live in the Edmonton area I can arrange to pick up the cards.
I've made this cute little puppy card to start my collection and a tag will follow.

I added crystal effects to the light bulbs and stickles to the snowflakes on the background.  Happy stamping!
