I Wish

Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Fab 'n Funky and their challenge is Thing with Wings.
I used Doodle Pantry's Ant Masquerade and I love how this turned out, simple and colourful. I used chaulk on the butterflies to give slight colour and the ant is cut out and popped up.
Hop on over to Fab 'n Funky and give their challenge a try. If you use a Doodle Pantry image you can enter our challenge as well, you have until Sept 24th.

I've entered this into:
Creative Craft Challenges: anything goes
Digital Tuesday Challenge: things with wings

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: less is more

Happy Anniversary

I was so organized and ready for my 30th anniversary, I made a card months ago so didn't have to worry about that since we were leaving for vacation on our anniversary. Sooo I went looking for the card a week before we left. I tore apart my craft room and do you think I could find the card... NOOOO! So I made another one with my stamping buddy, thank goodness I had time.
I love Rubbernecker stamps the ladies are so elegant!

However Maude, wow she looks a bit green around the gills, maybe its that windchill thing, lol! We're having a great time in Maui and the temperature at home is around -39 with the windchill... its awesome to be here! I'm entering this into:

Just for You

I haven't made a nugget box in a while and who doesn't like treats. This is the first time that I've actually used a stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps, I've always used a digi. But I saw this gorgeous stamp, and since its not a digi yet... I went shopping! This image is one of 10 in the set called Asian Plants. I used the smaller images to stamp my nuggets.
Here's a side view of my nugget box, you can see I put a ribbon and bow on each side and you can see the epoxy dots I used on the flowers. I painted some crystal effects onto the pot to give it some dimension.
Now I just have to make a card and my gift is ready. I've entered this into:
Creative Card Crew: anything goes
Papertake Weekly: anything goes
Critter Sketch challenge: anything but a card
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: the sky's the limit

Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Asian Plants
Paper: brilliant blue, regal rose, whisper white
