Happy Mother's Day

I had intended (and had put) a Happy Birthday sentiment on this and then remembered I had better start making Mother's Day cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids Canada. (I was thinking a young teenager would love to give this to their mother) So the sentiment changed and I have my first Mother's Day Card. The sketch I used is from a scrapbook store near me Scrapbook Memories & More, who have a challenge going on with a great prize.

Most of my cards have the inside decorated with no sentiment which I can always add later.

I've entered this into:
Totally PaperCrafts: monochromatic
Paper Crafting Journey: use a sentiment
Tuesday Throwdown: focus on sentiment

Stamp: Stampin up Long Time Friend
Paper: rich razzleberry cardstock and dp, michaels dp
Ink: rich razzleberry
Other: stampin up border punch, silver twine, ribbon, spellbinder

Let it Snow, let it snow, MAKE IT STOP

Happy July 1st Canada! There are a ton of celebrations going on in my neck of the woods, how about yours? Its also the first of the month so a new release from Doodle Pantry and what a release it is! I'm a little behind in my Christmas cards so I chose Doodle Pantry's Quirky Snowmen to work with.
I did a legal size card so I could get all three snowmen on. The first snowman has a few snowflakes falling, the second a few more, the third snowmen is in a blizzard, lol! The snowflakes turned out pretty light so if you click on the photo you can get a better look. Take a look at Doodle Pantry's Digi Grab bag, the items in there are marked down 25%, what a great deal! DPDC#25 starts at Noon EST hop on over and give the challenge a try, there's a free digi in it for you!

Baby's First Christmas

As soon as I saw the Santa hat Laurie made I knew I wanted to try it out on the giraffe, teddy, and the turtle. The giraffe is perfect for a baby's first Christmas, he's just so cute, and I computer generated the sentiment. Its really hard to see I tried taking multiple photos but I sprayed the whole card with smooch/99% alcohol mix and it has the most beautiful subtle sparkle sheen to it like falling snow, gorgeous! I've entered this into Charisma Cardz which is to make a baby card, Creative Cottage challenge which is to make a card for someone special and Totally Papercrafts Challenge which is to use snow or snowflakes.

Stamp: Doodle Pantry Sweet Giraffe and Santa accessories, computer generated sentiment
Paper: cherry cobbler, gable green, whisper white
Ink: cherry cobbler
Other: Stampin Up chaulk (ballet blue, garden green) ticket corner punch and markers, cuttlebug snowdots embossing folder, spellbinders tag, red and diamond stickles, smooch/99% alcohol spray, MS snowflake punch, snowflake brad, ribbon
