Good morning! I finally have some time to post, its a busy time of year. I made this card for a friend; I LOVE shybears from squigglefly, totally adorable!

I used prisma pencils and baby oil, very simple. I just wish the red berry stickles had turned out better!

Jacaranda Fan

Good morning, its actually bright and sunny here this morning, amazing! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Totally PaperCrafts and their theme is Don't be Square use a shaped card. It took me a while, (I finished 20min before I had to post) but I finally finished a fan card. It took me forever to figure it out but I really like it. I used Doodle Pantry's new Jacaranda flower. I had to do some research because we don't have them here, that I've seen anyway. This is how it looks standing on its own.

I stamped and embossed the white with a swirls background and then cut out the fan pieces. The flowers are  coloured with prisma alcohol markers and then I highlighted them with prisma pencils/babyoil. I added stickles to give it a bit more bling.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! A new year and gorgeous new images from Doodle Pantry like these two cute Love Worms. They come in colour with paper but I chose to colour them myself. Its hard to see the background but I stamped it with hearts, in deep red and then promptly put two thumb prints on either side of my image... that's why there is a large bow on the left and three butterflies on the right. UGH!

OMG

This is sooo my son's girlfriend. Her hair is pink, the eyeshadow is almost dead on and she love's to wear black pants and blue tops, lol! I made this  card for her birthday yesterday Happy Birthday SAM!

I printed her off twice and popped her head and feet up and then added lots of sparkle. Sam LOVES sparkles!

Happy July 1st Canada! There are a ton of celebrations going on in my neck of the woods, how about yours? Its also the first of the month so a new release from Doodle Pantry and what a release it is! I'm a little behind in my Christmas cards so I chose Doodle Pantry's Quirky Snowmen to work with.

I did a legal size card so I could get all three snowmen on. The first snowman has a few snowflakes falling, the second a few more, the third snowmen is in a blizzard, lol! I've had this gorgeous Doodle Pantry violin coloured since it first came out but had never posted it. I saw how the other DT members coloured it and was very intimidated by it, lol, they were gorgeous! I dug up the image again and finally decided I quite liked it so made this card. Happy Father's Day

This is the card I made for my Dad for Father's Day. He doesn't like to fish, hunt, golf, nothing really except keep the yard clear of weeds, read the paper and watch tv. So I got two of his three pass times into the card, sort of, lol!

I stamped the newspaper and the duck in the basket twice to pop them up. Other than that its pretty basic.

A New Year and New Images

There are fabulous new images and I chose this wolf who was so easy to work with. I used prisma markers on him but he looked too smooth, so I took a finger sponge and with a swiping motion added darker colours. IRL he looks soooo good.

 The background paper is wallpaper and I added epoxy dots to the eyes to add dimension. Nice!

Sassy Santa

I love these Sassy Studio images, what guy wouldn't want this card for Christmas. After entering the progressive Sassy challenge, I decided to do their monthly Christmas challenge and for October its ornaments. So the whole project could be an ornament or the paper has an ornament on it etc. I stamped Christmas ornaments and embossed them and added the rhinestones and cute little bells, sweet. Carnations anyone

As far back as I can remember Carnations have been my favourite flower. My birthday is in January, carnations are January's flower, is there a connection, I don't know, lol! My absolute favourite colour of carnations is deep red, which is also the colour of a garnet, January's stone. Hmmm I think I see a pattern here. There's a couple of spring rain challenges going on and when I think of rain, clouds, no sun, I'm sad so... I have a friend who gets so busy I don't hear from her. What better sentiment to go with a card reminding her I'm thinking of her! I printed off the stamp twice and cut out the umbrella, hand, and boots. The sentiment is also computer generated. Happy 25th BJ, LOL isn't this the greatest! I bought the image immediately, I just saw so many cards I could do with it, but I had no sentiment.
