Anything But A Card Monday - Christmas Balls

Good morning, today at Catch the Bug is Anything But a Card Monday

and I've made some Christmas Balls using Bugaboo's digital stamps.
Splitcoaststampers has a tutorial here however I did mine a little different. I used Inkjet Transparencies and printed off the stamps I wished to use which were Bugaboo's Turtle - Winter and Snowman - Winter. The transparencies are rough on one side and that's the side you print on. I used a circle cutter and cut the circle leaving a notch at the top (below is the blank I keep for sizing my image)
Then colour the image with alcohol markers. (you could use a coloured digital stamp)
I cover the rough side with versa mark, stampin up heat and stick powder (heat it) then glitter and finish heating. AS soon as that's done I roll it up and put the acetate in the glass ball. Its much easier rolling and unrolling the sheet if its warm. Put the cap on, add a bow and its done. I have a few more to make before Christmas. Happy creating!

Snow Buddies

I had another fantastic day stamping with my friend Glenda and this is the card I made.I had originally coloured the snowmen's hats black but decided to change them to green.
They were coloured with alcohol markers so I used the colourless blender to erase as much of the black as possible. Then I coloured over them with green, the result is the hats look like felt IRL. The photo doesn't do them justice.
The inside says "Merry Christmas from your snowbuddies!"
