I must admit this colour challenge was hard for me! I used Bugaboo's Chibi Beach and actually found some paper I had that matched pretty good. If I had to do this over again I'd change the tan ribbon for a lighter yellow.

Bugaboo Elf 002

Good morning and welcome to Catch the Bug's Saturday challenge, today's theme is going in circles!

I used Bugaboo's Elf 002 and printed him twice so I could pop up the box he's in. I have never used a lot of patterned paper, however I LOVE to buy it, lol! So I have a ton of it and am trying very hard to actually use it! Since the striped paper is soooo busy I kept the rest very simple. I added my favourite ringlet die and a circle sentiment to finish. Good morning, today Doodle Pantry's challenge AIMPDC#17 begins and I created a great card for my nephew. I printed Doodle Pantry's Hotrod Pickup colour and printed it twice so I could pop up the truck. I made the card longer so it would fit into a legal envelop and I'll be adding a bookmark to send along with the card.

I did no designer paper, texture, bling and printed Bugaboo's Holiday Cheer Glass out twice so I could pop it up. Pearl crystal effects make the "glass" shiny however I was running late with the card so the middle of the glass looks a little cloudy...it wasn't quite dry yet, lol but looks great now!

Butterfly Rose Corner

Good morning today's Tuesday which means a New Release at Bugaboo! I took this gorgeous Butterfly Rose Corner stamp, copied then turned it 180 degrees and created a circle for a wedding card.

I printed the image twice onto a white vellum, coloured it with copics/prisma pencils then popped up four of the roses. I used liquid pearls on all of the dots and added three vellum butterflies. Wine a Day

Good morning! Today I'm wearing two hats for one card. First its Catch the Bug's Humour Me Wednesday and I'm celebrating National Beverage Day, which is always celebrated on May 6, with this large glass of wine!

 The second hat I'm wearing is Guest DT as winner for Crafting by Designs and their challenge this week is to create a one layer card which was definitely a challenge for me. I printed Bugaboo's Glass of wine a day and then coloured it with prisma pencils/gamsol. I had tried markers but they bled through the paper so pencils it was. Dandelions and Butterflies

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and its a photo challenge.

I chose to use the colour blue and flowers as my inspiration for this card. 

I used Bugaboo's Dandelion Butterflies printed it only once, added stickles and used the sakura glitter pen on the large bubbles. When using the glitter pen on larger surfaces you can see streaks so this time I went over the pen with a copic marker...no streaks! I added black liquid pearls and embossed the background. I was in a hurry and didn't take the time to properly check that I had stamped the entire background so am a little disappointed in some of the spotty sections, but it still looks good.
