Holiday Cheer Glass

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and its a Bingo challenge!

I did no designer paper, texture, bling and printed Bugaboo's Holiday Cheer Glass out twice so I could pop it up. Pearl crystal effects make the "glass" shiny however I was running late with the card so the middle of the glass looks a little cloudy...it wasn't quite dry yet, lol but looks great now!

I printed  Bugaboo's Scene It - Ladybugs out twice so I could pop up the ladybugs and flowers, added die cut leaves and pearls and its done.

Bugaboo Bear

I printed the skating bear 2 times from Bugaboo's Mini Set - Winter Bears so I could pop up the hat and skate. My New Year's resolution is to do at least one Christmas card a week. I tried this resolution last year and did not succeed so I'm trying again this year. Wish me luck, lol!

I made this card for my Dad to give to his grandson who is car crazy. Its seems from the day he was born he just loved cars. Its a Justinklined coloured stamp and I cut it out to pop it up.

I Scream, You Scream

Today we're sponsoring Digital Tuesday and the challenge is to make someone laugh, my favourite type of card because I love laughter. There's a story behind this card...it was suppose to be a double page scrapbook layout. I had the image coloured, knew in my head how it should look and then picked which photo's I'd use. ALL of the photos were mainly blue. Of course they were blue and no matter what I did the ice cream and gummy worm just didn't look good. So I'm going to redo the image and use the correct colours but for now its a card.

Both images are from Doodle Pantry but the ice cream sundae is from the CDAC Progressive challenge and the ant and gummy worm are from Doodle Pantry's Watermelon Lunch. I love merging images to create scenes and this worked great. I was originally going to use just ants on the sundae but liked these two better. 

I put 3-d glaze on the bowl and cut out and popped up most of the image. Inside of the card is almost as good as the outside! Just click on the image to enlarge it so you can see the writing.

Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Craft Your Passion and the challenge is Torn and Distressed Edges and may I say what a challenge it was for me! I very rarely do distressed cards because I'm not very good at it.

I printed and cut out Doodle Pantry's Dream Catcher and then popped up the whole image. I distressed all the papers but not the sentiments. I dug around in my jewellery bag and found some metal feathers I had left over from making my son's dream catchers years ago. I made three, one for each son and then two more for my niece and nephew, then I did a crossed stitched dream catcher for our living-room, I love them!

Sassy Studio Designs gave this gorgeous lady away on Paper Craft Planet yesterday so my stamping buddy and I created all afternoon! The bubble stamp, I had borrowed from Glenda a while ago and still had at my place, worked perfectly for a background.

We've been practising shading hair, its coming slowly but not perfect yet. I've added epoxy dots to some of the bubbles, not all, just some.
