Gus Hunting

Good morning, today a new challenge at Catch the Bug and the theme is The Great Outdoors! Well I made a fantastic birthday card for a friend who loves to hunt and I computer generated the sentiment, lol! I printed Bugaboo's Gus Hunting twice so I could cut out Gus and the bushes to pop them up.

Bugaboo Bee 01

Good morning and for those of you who entered our Christmas in July challenges congratulations on making it through, lol! I decided I had done enough Christmas cards for a while, probably a short while but still I needed to do something different. Today's Catch the Bug challenge is a Bingo challenge!

I chose the diagonal line of button, flower and pearl using Bugaboo Bee 01, so totally adorable and not Christmas!

I actually used two different dp papers and marvel that it turned out! (I'm not a design paper person)

Bee Flower

Good morning today starts another Stella Says Sketch at Catch the Bug! 

I took the sketch and flipped it so my sentiment is the larger block.

I am so in love with this Japanese paper and the marble orange is just amazing! A stationary store was closing and I bought a LOT of this paper so you'll probably see more of it.

Doodle Pantry New Release

Good afternoon, today starts a new AIMPDC AND new images from Doodle Pantry!! I chose to create a card with Carousel Horse 3 but with no carousel! Horses 1 and 3 have updated papers and the horses are free of their carousel.

I first coloured the horse with one copic marker and then used prisma pencils to darken him. I fussy cut him and him on a background. The new releases at Doodle Pantry are 20% off for today and tomorrow only so hurry in and take a look. You have until February 25th to enter AIMPDC#14, good luck and happy crafting!

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and its a recipe challenge! You are to create a project with 3 layers, the colour Orange, Ribon and Something with a bird. So I printed Bugaboo's Birthday Bird 2 3 times so I could pop up her eyes and then the cupcakes.

Holiday Cheer Glass

I did no designer paper, texture, bling and printed Bugaboo's Holiday Cheer Glass out twice so I could pop it up. Pearl crystal effects make the "glass" shiny however I was running late with the card so the middle of the glass looks a little cloudy...it wasn't quite dry yet, lol but looks great now!

Life's a Breeze

Good morning, today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Pile It On and their challenge is Summer Fun. What can be more fun in the summer than playing on the beach in the sand! I merged three different images, first I used the tree from Aloha, then the sandals from Flip Flops and finally the bucket and shovel from Mini Summer Trio. I brayered the background and then cut out the image to pop up.
