Bugaboo Emma

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug Stella Says Sketch!

A very good friends daughter just had a baby girl so I used Bugaboo's Emma digi for my card.

I popped up her hair, soother, bottle and feet. I'm working on a baby album with matching colours...it might take a while! You have a month for this challenge so there's no excuse not to enter. If you haven't seen the new Bugaboo store now's the time, the Christmas in July sale 50% off has been extended until August 7! Happy shopping.
I'm entering this into:
Crafty Creations: anything goes

Stamp: Bugaboo Emma, Stampin Up sentiment
Paper: whisper white, calypso coral
Other: copic markers, ribbon, tiny dots and circles embossing folders, spellbinders, oval punch

Happy Baby Bird

I'm posting late today because I woke with a screaming headache so took my meds and went back to bed. Then life got in the way sooo, grocery shopping is done, supper is ready to put in the oven, dog is walked, I finally get to play. This totally adorable stamp is a digital from Doodle Pantry. Clearly Delightful challenge blog has an incredible monthly challenge ( you still have time to enter) where you can create a card AND if you follow their simple rules, you get a free digital stamp. How cool is that! You can use ANY company's stamp, I used Doodle Pantry's because this bird is just way too cute. This is for a baby shower this weekend so I used Lilac and the background paper is... wallpaper, again! If you zoom in on it you can see that its textured and the colours are so perfect for a baby. The challenge this month is to use pearls, bling, and button things. Use one or a combination of all three. I used only pearls and really like how the card turned out. This card also fits Stamp Something recipe challenge this week to use 1 designer paper(wallpaper is still paper, and its gorgeous), 1 ribbon, 1 image.

This gorgeous baby card is one of the 9 possible cards in April's workshop. We are doing 3 masculine, 3 feminine and 3 "other" birthday cards. This is one of the possible other cards, lol! I figured green would be great because its both masculine and feminine. I love this baby set its just so darn cute!

Hello Baby

This is the last card for a while using either green or yellow, I promise! This little bear called a shybear is a digital stamp from Squigglefly and their SNR universe challenge (its a meeting place like stamptv, papercraft planet, etc)was to use the colours green, yellow and black. The background embossing folder fit perfectly with the weave on the basket and everything else came together pretty fast.
Stamps: Squigglefly shybear, stampin up fundamental phrases
Paper: So saffron, garden green, whisper white
Ink: summer sun, garden green,
Other: prisma markers, ribbon, brads, cuttlebug houndstooth embossing folder, circle and oval punches

Baby pet friends

Isn't this stamp adorable, I just LOVE the poor dogs eyes! I've been in the baby card mood and here is another one! This is for two challenges, the first one being Flourishes Timeless Tuesday using pink as a main theme found here. Pretty simple challenge, the second one was the hard one. Its from Whimsy stamps found here and is to make a card with lots of frills. I'm not a lots of frills card maker but I think this did the trick!
Stamps: Whimsy pet friends
Paper: bashful blue, pretty in pink, dp
Ink: pretty in pink, bashful blue
Other: brads, markers, ribbon, border punch, punchs

Friends

I did this card for a Whimsy Challenge found here
The challenge was to do a card that was warm and fuzzy. Well I only have two Whimsy stamps a Reindeer that's sticking out his tongue and this one. What is more warm and fuzzy than a baby card with three friends together! The eyes on the big dog just kill me, lol.

Stamps: Whimsy Pet Friends
Paper: bashful blue (I inked the edges with bashful blue to darken them), Pretty in Pink, whisper white
Ink: bashful blue, pretty in pink, basic black
Other: button brads, alcohol markers, versamark pen, clear embossing powder, Fiskers embossing folder ( I got the folders from a friend, they're great if you want a subtle embossed imaged. They are not as crisp as the cuttlebug or Stampin up folders.
