From our family to yours

Good morning and Happy July 1! With a new month comes a new release from Doodle Pantry. I got to play with the new Holiday Greetings set along with my favourite Caroling Friends. I really like how this turned out but next time I'll make the background a little darker to show off the image better. I popped up all of their hats (the ants was really hard to do, lol) and the birdies wing. I then added stickles to their hats and the ink bled...it looked nasty. So I used a sharpie white paint pen and coloured the stickles. I think it turned out really well, and not black!
I also put one of the new sentiments on the inside of the card.
Take a look at the new releases as well as what the other DT members did. At noon today starts our DPDC#36 challenge and just for entering (with a Doodle Pantry image) you receive the Holiday Greetings set for free. THAT'S not ALL! There is a surprise 25% off sale as well as a Patriotic Sale for 40% off check it out here!

Spots Dots and Chickenpox

What a great day! I actually got a second double layout scrapbook page done...it took me forever and I didn't finish until midnight  but I got it done! Today we're sponsoring Sentimental Sunday and the challenge is Show me your spots. Instead I'm showing you Steven's (my youngest son's) spots.

My two older children had chickenpox too but never scarred or really had a problem but Steven...

had spots everywhere, and itch...Oh My  I felt so sorry for him! When I saw Doodle Pantry's Quirky Elephant I knew he was perfect. I coloured him myself and then added the dots and I love the sentiment I computer generated.

Here's what the double layout looks like.
