Dream Away

Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Craft Your Passion and the challenge is Torn and Distressed Edges and may I say what a challenge it was for me! I very rarely do distressed cards because I'm not very good at it.
I printed and cut out Doodle Pantry's Dream Catcher and then popped up the whole image. I distressed all the papers but not the sentiments. I dug around in my jewellery bag and found some metal feathers I had left over from making my son's dream catchers years ago. I made three, one for each son and then two more for my niece and nephew, then I did a crossed stitched dream catcher for our living-room, I love them!
Even though I don't do distressed I do like how it turned out. Hop on over the Craft Your Passion and give the challenge a try. If you use a Doodle Pantry image you can also enter Doodle Pantry's challenge #23 and receive a free image just for entering!

I've entered this into:

Come and Get it Challenge: Lets hear it for the boys
That Craft Place Challenge: One for the boys
Just Tracys Crafts Challenge: anything goes
Catch the Bug Challenge: anything goes
Mark's Finest Papers: use 3 of something

Paper: early espresso, tangerine tango, whisper white (used prisma marker to create cream), confetti cream

  15. Dawn, wow! Love the way you colored your dream catcher and of course the added charms. I too am a big fan of dream catchers, I haven't cross stitched in quite a while...bet yours in cross stitch is gorgeous. Love all of the layers and the gear embossing folder looks great behind your image. May not be your fave technique, but you aced it!
