Winter Critter Tree

Good morning, this week Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Pile It On and their theme is Sparkle! I used the tree from Winter Critters and had to print it out 3 times because my liquid pearls kept spitting at the most annoying time! I had the first one done and the second last pearl spit, realllly bad. I started another one and the second pearl spit, grrr. SO finally the third try was successful. I also used a glitter sakura gel pen on the Christmas balls, otherwise I kept it pretty simple.

Rubber Boots

I printed the image twice so I could cut out and pop up the boot, then added butterflies, pearls, stickles and done.

Christmas Eve Ants

Good morning, its the first of the month which means a new release from Doodle Pantry! We've got new ant stamps this month and they are adorable! I got to play with Christmas Eve Ants, (they're sleeping in a walnut, so cute) and printed the stamp out twice to pop up the heads and stockings.

Something Smells

Good afternoon, I tried to get this post done earlier but afternoon will have to do! It seems like I've been behind the eight ball for the past 3 months. I finished this card and was posting it on the Doodle Pantry blog at midnight last night for posting this morning...at least it got done. Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Robyn's Fetish challenge and their theme is more than one fold. I've never done a Joy Fold Card so thought I'd give it a try with Doodle Pantry's new set Nature Calls.

Most of the tutorials for the Joy Fold have the front flap smaller than what I made but I like the larger panel.

The sentiment Sometimes Life Stinks comes with the Nature Calls set but I made the Plug your nose It'll pass sentiment.

The outhouse on the left panel is hand drawn by me not one of the stamps from Nature Calls. I had put everything together and then thought OK how am I going to put an outhouse on the inside....hense the hand drawn image. Hop on over to Robyn's Fetish and give the challenge a try. I love the eyes on this gorgeous image from Saturated Canary, aren't they amazing! I made this card for a friends birthday again ahead of time, wow. I used crystal effects on her eyes, balloon and buttons on her shoe. I really like how her hair came out, I'm getting better at highlighting...finally, lol!

A friend's dad died a week before Christmas so its been a rough holiday for her. I thought I'd take her to lunch and this card would be perfect to lift her spirits.
