Monique
I made this card for two different challenges. The first one is Flourishes Timeless Tuesdays found here. The challenge was to use pearls. Anything with pearls, pearlx, pearlized paper, etc. I used pearls. The second challenge was for Rubbernecker found here. The challenge was to use anything that sparkles, so rhinestones, glitter, pearls, etc. I used pearls and rhinestones. I used Stampin up Dusty Durango and matted in Chocolate Chip. The ribbon is from Michaels along with the rhinestones and pearls. I have September's class cards up, take a look, and have a great week!

Rubbernecker Scarecrow
This weeks Rubbernecker's challenge is a colour one. You have to use Dusty Durango, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. I darkened Dusty Durango and Soft Suede by sponging them, the rest of the card is pretty self explanatory. To play you can go to the Rubbernecker website here. There is also another site called the color throwdown here and they have the same colour challenge. Create a card and go to both websites and post your card. Who knows maybe you'll win a 40% off coupon at Rubbernecker and a free stamp from Rubbernecker at the color throwdown site. Create and have fun!

Tickly Your Funny Bone
I made this card for my Aunts birthday but its also for the Rubbernecker challenge found here. The challenge this week was to do a card with a favorite memory attached. The whole saying of the card is You know you're old when... you and your teeth don't sleep in the same bed! Well when I was younger and my Grandma was visiting we were sitting at the kitchen table and she sneezed, REALLY loud and hard. HER teeth went flying across the floor and it was a race between her and our dog (Chuckles) to get the teeth. IT was hilarious!! This stamp set is awesome and is from Gina K Designs found here. The stamps are red rubber but are mounted with E-Z mount so cling to clear blocks. Storage is much better! I went to the Gina K gallery and got inspiration for painting the car here The ribbon I bought ages ago (and I mean ages) I don't remember where. The background stamp is Stampin Up Special Day. The rhinestones are from Michaels and I don't know if I really like them. They don't sit very well, at all! The colours are Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay. Have a great day.

Rubbernecker Grand Bunny Bottoms
Hi I fell in love with this stamp when I saw it, its soo adorable! I stamped with versamark and basic black and embossed with clear embossing powder. Watercoloured the bunnies with creamy caramel, the grass is garden green. I did little clouds with pretty in pink. The bunnies are framed with Lovely Lilac, Pixie pink and white. The background is lovely lilac and pixie pink with Easter inchies stamped on the background. The buttons are brads from Making memories, I think! The punch is stampin up and the white ribbons are from Michaels. This card was made for the Rubbernecker challenge to use buttons. I cheated because I didn't use real buttons just brad buttons. But hey, they're buttons.

Spring Song
I made this card for three different challenges and for my dad to give my sister for her birthday. Four things in one card, fabulous! The first challenge is Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge and this week is all about adding sparkle, to read about it click here. I added stickles diamonds to the flowers and hummingbird. The second challenge is Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday challenge and this is the first time that I've entered a card that is not a Rubbernecker stamp. To play along click here. The challenge is to use circles in your card, which I've done. The third challenge is a sketch challenge on stamp tv here. The fourth use is a birthday card for my sister. Voila four uses, awesome. I used Stampin Up spring song with Sincere salutations for the sentiment and Ivy as the background. The light pink paper is from Michaels and Rose Red from Stampin Up. The ribbon is also from Michaels. Thanks for looking.

Rubbernecker Wildflower background
This card is a congratulations card for a friends daughter who just became a Registered Nurse! Four years of school and now she's done!! It is also a Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday Challenge. We were to do an inspiration card from a line of purses here.I find inspiration cards hard but I love how this one turned out. I used a Rubbernecker background stamp Wild flower, stamped and embossed with white detail onto black. For the main image I used another Rubbernecker stamp and stamped with basic black on Soft Suede, then sponged. I used a white gel pen to colour the flowers, added the ribbon and was done. To play along go to the Rubbernecker website here.

Rubbernecker Snowpeople

Hi everyone this is my very first post to my new blog and I thought the perfect post would be a Rubbernecker Challenge! I love Rubbernecker stamps and have been doing their challenges since they began. The challenge this week is Rubbernecker 17 - tag you're it. You can do any card as long as it has a tag on it! I'm starting the cards for my summer workshops which will be all Christmas cards (Christmas in July and August) so I thought I'd play with Snow people from Rubbernecker. I used the new in-colours from Stampin Up! Crushed curry, Dusty Durango and Soft suede, along with bashful blue, brilliant blue and night of navy. The highlights for the snowman (they're very faint) are watered down Bermuda Bay. I stamped the wonder and joy from the Rubbernecker saying "Wishing you a holiday filled with wonder and joy". The ribbon and brads are from Michaels. Go to the Rubbernecker website here and try the challenge and have fun. Thanks for stopping by!
