Valentine Bee Box

Good morning! Monday's at Catch the Bug are Anything But A Card day so I made a box to hold a chocolate bar for Valentines Day. 

I used Bugaboo's Valentine Bee and popped up his head then attached him to a band around the box, very simple.

Snowglobe Ava

Good morning, today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and its a bingo challenge!

I chose to do the top row of brown, ribbon and bugaboo image. I used Bugaboo's image of Snowglobe Ava and made it into an easel card. I matted the globe and left the rest. Its very hard to see but I spritzed the snowglobe with shimmer spray and IRL it looks amazing!

The base is a simple bow and snowflakes with pearls.

Morning Troll

Good morning! The Bugaboo DT are back from vacation and are ready to create projects for our challenges starting with today's bingo challenge.

I chose the bottom line of ribbon, no designer papers and flower then printed Bugaboo's Morning Troll out twice to pop up her hair piece, brush and sleeping mask. I took a chance using a shimmer pink paper (which was embossed with cherry blossoms) and cajun craze. Orange and pink, really...but I think it works!

Wine a Day

Good morning! Today I'm wearing two hats for one card. First its Catch the Bug's Humour Me Wednesday and I'm celebrating National Beverage Day, which is always celebrated on May 6, with this large glass of wine!

 The second hat I'm wearing is Guest DT as winner for Crafting by Designs and their challenge this week is to create a one layer card which was definitely a challenge for me. I printed Bugaboo's Glass of wine a day and then coloured it with prisma pencils/gamsol. I had tried markers but they bled through the paper so pencils it was. A True Friend

Good morning, today is the first of the month and we have a new release at Doodle Pantry! I got to play with new Gazania color plus stamp and I printed off the orange one three times to pop up the flower and petals. Looking at the photo I think I should have printed the flowers a little lower which I'll try to remember next time! I just love the sentiment and it comes from the new release Cute Crawlies.

Hello There

Good morning, today a new challenge starts at Catch the Bug and its a Bingo challenge! 

I chose a spring image, players choice and die cuts. I printed Bugaboo's Clyde Spring 3 times so I could pop up Clyde's ladybug nose and then pop the flower. I used versa mark on the butterfly background stamp then some orange and yellow ink finally embossing it. IRL Clyde looks sooo cool!

Good morning! I created this card for Zoe the owner of Make it Crafty since her birthday is coming up. I coloured her with stampin up alcohol markers and then highlighted her with prisma pencils. I sprayed the background with shimmer mist and used a sakura pen on the background dots, shoelaces and bows.

With Father's Day fast approaching I made this card for my husband who just came back from a 10 day fishing trip (which he thoroughly enjoyed) so this stamp was perfect for him. I changed the name of the boat from Susie Q to nothing box and added the perfect sentiment.

Lil Hummer

Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring One Stop Craft Challenge and its a bingo challenge! 

I used Doodle Pantry's Lil Hummer from January's release and did embossing, diecuts/punches and flowers. I'm not very good at flowers but my stamping buddy Glenda (she does gorgeous flowers)

 assured me I could do it, so I kept practising and I LOVE how the flower turned out.  I added stickles, of course, and lightly sponged the flower background.

Joy

Its the 15th of the month and a new release for Clear Dollar Stamps. I just love the look of the chrysanthemum flower, it so puffy and full and can be so many different colours. It's also the flower of the month for November. I chose the theme of blue and white and I think it will make a gorgeous anniversary card. I printed the stamp off twice and then cut out the leaves and flowers to pop them up. I added stickles (my favourite accessory) to give it a little dazzle.
