gift Box

I did this gift box for a challenge at stamptv. The paper I used for the top is so cool, it looks like a sheet of stamps. It would make a great card background. I used Gina K stamps, I love anything antique, and labels three from spellbinders. Now I just have to make something to go in it!
Stamps: Gina K timeless Treasures
Paper: 20cent clearance dp paper
Ink: Close to cocoa, creamy caramel, more mustard
Other: brads, lace, crystal effects, clear embossing powder

What's my Style

I altered this book to take with me when I go to the states. This was also for a challenge at stamptv here what's your style. Well my style is simple, usually brads and ribbon and I adore scenes, so most of my cards have a scene on it. I've learned to do scenes from Michelle Zindorf here and Theresa Momber here, they have fantastic tutorials you should check them out! I do other styles too, many layers and fancy, but most often they're pretty simple. That's my style.
Stamps: Gina K happy camper, Timeless treasures, stampscapes water
Paper: basic black, whisper white, vellum(red from Michaels)
Ink: pink pirouette, pretty in pink, real red, purely pomegranate, craft white
Other: ribbon, brads, prisma markers

Australian Journey

A friends son is going on an extended vacation to Australia in January and I made this as a going away card. Of course it was for a challenge too, lol! Flourishes Timeless Tuesdays challenge was to make a card clean and simple and that is this card for sure! To play along you can go here. I did a wrinkle background with cream tissue paper and then after it was on cardstock I sponged Soft Suede over it. I also sponged soft suede on the circle and edges of the card to deepen the colour.
Stamps: Gina K, Local Rubber King
Paper: soft suede, whisper white, cream tissue paper
Ink: soft suede, versamark
Other: brads, liquid glue (for tissue paper) clear embossing powder

So Sorry

I wanted to do a monochromatic challenge at stamp tv here and this is the result. I cut out the watch and put crystal effects on the face. The background is stamped with craft bravo burgandy and then clear embossed. I used the argyle embossing folder and then sponged over it with bravo burgandy.
Stamps: Gina K Timeless Treasures
Paper: confetti cream, bravo burgandy
Ink: bravo burgandy
Other: crystal effects, cuttlebug argyle folder, clear embossing powder, ribbon, scallop border punch

Sunset

I haven't posted for a couple of days I'm fighting a nasty headache. Its sort of under control, NOT, lol! so I thought I'd post anyway. One of my sons works for a paint store and he phoned asking if I'd like the old wallpaper books to look through. Well sure I said, lol, while secretly drooling! One of the books was for murals and this was a portion of the picture. I cut it to fit into a legal size envelope, added two borders, ribbon and saying. What a gorgeous card! The saying fits perfectly with the picture. I did it in 15 min. I'm giving this to the manager of the store as a thank you card.

SOOOO easy and gorgeous!
As soon as my head is better (it had better be tomorrow!!!) I'm going to do a card for the Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential! The challenge this week is to do a card by creating a scene. One of my favorite things to do! So go here and take a look at the challenge and have fun!

Memories

This is an altered journal I did for a challenge, if you did a bookmark too you got extra points, lol! I honestly like the bookmark better than the journal, which I still like. But I love how the bookmark turned out. The sentiments are so awesome! Altering a journal is sooo easy and it adds to your decor!
