Funny Fariy Godmother

This is a birthday card for a friend, lol! On the inside it says "I know you don't expect a sick person to run out and get you a gift! She is just too darn cute and she's a digi stamp. I don't have many but I couldn't resist her. This card is also for two challenges. The first one is here and is called Dannis Dreams home of Flutter by Wednesdays. I've never done any challenges from there before and thought I'd give it a try. The challenge was to do something with wings, such as a fairy or butterfly, but with the Holidays around the corner you could also create an angel, which I did. She's a little rough around the edges but she's an angel, lol!! The second challenge was on stamptv and it was a colour challenge. The colours are dark purple, black and gold. You could use the neutral of either white or cream. To play the challenge you can go here.

Stamps: Digi Shack, computer generated(sentiment)
Paper: Elegant Eggplant, basic black, whisper white
Ink: Elegant eggplant, basic black, more mustard, blush blossom, versamark
Other: Crystal Effects, ribbon, gold gel pen, gold pearls, clear embossing powder

Embrace Life

This is a card I did for a colour challenge using brown, peach and vanilla. The stamp set is Embrace Life by Stampin Up. I stamped the large flower on vellum, embossed it and sponged ink on the back. The paper I used was digital, its a neat way to save space. You only need to print it out when you need it. Of course you need a colour printer, which I don't have, thank goodness for parents, lol! Both ribbons are from the local craft store. Have a great week.

I've been playing with my cuttlebug and this new folder is just too cute. The card is for a challenge using black, pink and gray. Not much gray but I got it in there, lol! The next folders I'll be buying is from Stampin Up.

Mooning Grandma

Here is my second post for the Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday Challenge #24 which was to create a card with a memory attached. So here goes, lol! When my husband (Robin) and I were at the cabin with my parents and grandma (many years ago) Robin, the dear heart, mooned my grandma! It was hilarious. Through the screen door Robin called "Hey Grandma" and of course when she looked there was this cute little white moon staring at her! She ran, grabbed a wooden spoon and chased Robin around the cabin. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed a good laugh. This stamp from Rubbernecker and computer generated saying makes the perfect card for this memory. I'm also doing two other challenges. The first one is from stamptv and is a colour challenge. To use white, black and green. The second challenge is also from stamptv and is inking up a cuttlebug and then embossing the paper. I'm not really thrilled with how it turned out, I'm thinking I need to practice more! Have a great week.

Stampin up Music Expressions

I finished this card last night for the stamp TV colour challenge found here. Remember I just won a stamp set by doing the challenge and the one I picked is gorgeous so start stamping and take up the challenge. You do have to post on the stamp tv website but its free! OK the colour challenge was to use red as a focal with brown and cream. I stamped with basic black on vanila and used real red and bravo burgandy for the violin, flowers, and the owl is creamy caramel. I sponged the vanila first with creamy caramel and then bravo burgandy. In real like it looks awesome. The red papers are real red and ridinghood red sponged with bravo brugandy. The paper bravo burgandy was too dark to use. I used the wheel symphony on creamy caramel with close to cocoa ink and again sponged with creamy caramel and then bravo burgandy. I added red and gold stickles (gold is a form of brown, lol) onto the flowers and butterfly and the ribbon, from Michaels, has the gold flecks in it. IRL it looks sooo good.

Tranquil by Innovative Stamp Creations

This is the second card I did for the stamptv colour challenge found here. The first one I did I liked so much I'm saving it for another challenge so I can't post it yet. The challenge was to use peach and ivory with pink as an option (I didn't use pink, lol). I used the free digital paper peachy keen, ivory and blush blossom paper sponged with groovy guava. I stamped the flowers in groovy guava and blush blossom with the stem in chocolate chip. The brads and ribbon are from Michaels and the sentiment is from Stampin Up. The stem and blossoms are from Innovative Stamp Creations found here and the set is called tranquil.

Marvels of nauture by ISC

I made this card for the stamp tv colour challenge using brown, green, white/vanilla. I started out with one card this afternoon and that went nowhere fast. Started another one and that failed. Went to pick up Steven at work (paint store) and voila, inspiration. Steven gave me a huge roll of wallpaper that was returned. If you look closely at the background, that's what it is, wallpaper. Then at the store they had a gorgeous picture hanging on the wall of trees. So again, voila, here is my card. I used Chocolate chip and Always Artichoke and wallpaper, lol!

Stampin Up Holiday Lineup

This card is for the Stamp TV colour challenge. The colours to use were black, white and red. I love this set and it fits perfectly with the colour scheme. The set is Stampin Up Holiday Lineup, the snowflake is from Stampin Snow Swirled and the sentiment is from a Stampin up hostess set. I stamped and embossed the snowflakes and then added silver stickles to the snowflakes and snowmen. I punched out the red scallop square in red and black for added punch. The red rhinestone brads are from Michaels.
