Memories

I love the new in-colour Soft Suede! Here I've sponged it on the back panel and just touched over the dots on the cuttlebug panel. Two vastly different colours but the same paper. I only used two colours for this card, a vanilla and soft suede. This card was made for a sketch challenge at stamptv here and Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential here. Yes I've already done a card for the Hidden Potential challenge but it was so good I did two, lol! You can't see it in the photo but I outlined the inside of the flowers with a sakura glitter gel pen. IRL it looks soooo good!
Stamps: Gina K Designs
Paper: Very Vanilla (scalloped circle), textured vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink: Soft Suede
Other: Sakura gel pen, swiss dots cuttlebug, MS branch punch, spellbinders border trimming
Have a great week!

My sympathy

This is a sympathy card I made for a friend of mine. It seems this weekend of Thanksgiving I'll be making more sympathy cards! I am really enjoying my new tools (cuttlebug folders and spellbinders nestabilities) and trying different techniques with them. Fast elegant cards are awesome, of course they will never replace painting and layering but in a pinch, they rock!
Stamps: Rubbernecker sentiment, Little paper shop (flower)
Paper: whisper white, Soft suede
Ink: Soft suede, versamark
Other: ribbon, clear embossing powder, cuttlebug

Congratulations Chris & Trisha

This card was for a sketch challenge, which I thought was awesome! Its an engagement card and IRL its so sparkly! It turned out sooo good, I think stickles is my new best friend, lol! The only problem I had with the vellum is having the adhesive show through so sponging is a must. If I did this card again I would use a larger and thicker congratulations stamp, otherwise its perfect.
Stamps: Stampin up Wedding Sweet, Inkadinkado
Paper: Elegant eggplant, whisper white, vellum dp
Ink: Basic black, elegant eggplant, versamark
Other: ribbon, rhinestones, clear embossing powder, stickles!!

Stampin up Music Expressions

I finished this card last night for the stamp TV colour challenge found here. Remember I just won a stamp set by doing the challenge and the one I picked is gorgeous so start stamping and take up the challenge. You do have to post on the stamp tv website but its free! OK the colour challenge was to use red as a focal with brown and cream. I stamped with basic black on vanila and used real red and bravo burgandy for the violin, flowers, and the owl is creamy caramel. I sponged the vanila first with creamy caramel and then bravo burgandy. In real like it looks awesome. The red papers are real red and ridinghood red sponged with bravo brugandy. The paper bravo burgandy was too dark to use. I used the wheel symphony on creamy caramel with close to cocoa ink and again sponged with creamy caramel and then bravo burgandy. I added red and gold stickles (gold is a form of brown, lol) onto the flowers and butterfly and the ribbon, from Michaels, has the gold flecks in it. IRL it looks sooo good.

Digishack

I finally got to play late tonight. The past couple of days I have been driving the kids with no time to play. I hid in my craft room and made this. I made many mistakes but I just didn't care. The sun is terrible and normally I would have started over on the back but I was afraid I'd be interrupted so I just continued, lol! The background is brayered using Morning Marigold and then Tangerine Tango and for the water I used Pacific Point. The strip of paper is Apricot Appeal. The image is from Digishack (digital stamp) but he has no name. The sentiment is from Rubbernecker. I did the sketch challenge at stamptv here

Spring Song

I made this card for three different challenges and for my dad to give my sister for her birthday. Four things in one card, fabulous! The first challenge is Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge and this week is all about adding sparkle, to read about it click here. I added stickles diamonds to the flowers and hummingbird. The second challenge is Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday challenge and this is the first time that I've entered a card that is not a Rubbernecker stamp. To play along click here. The challenge is to use circles in your card, which I've done. The third challenge is a sketch challenge on stamp tv here. The fourth use is a birthday card for my sister. Voila four uses, awesome. I used Stampin Up spring song with Sincere salutations for the sentiment and Ivy as the background. The light pink paper is from Michaels and Rose Red from Stampin Up. The ribbon is also from Michaels. Thanks for looking.
