Mosaic Card

I've never done a mosaic card before but after seeing a lot of them over at Innovative Stamp Creations (ISC) I decided to try one. I brayered the background on two alike and left out the yellow on the third. Just stamped in black and I was done. I struggled with what paper to use as a background and finally decided on wallpaper! lol It's a gorgeous marble sample of burgandy and gold that my son brought home from work. Kids gotta love them! Marvels of nauture by ISC

I made this card for the stamp tv colour challenge using brown, green, white/vanilla. I started out with one card this afternoon and that went nowhere fast. Started another one and that failed. Went to pick up Steven at work (paint store) and voila, inspiration. Steven gave me a huge roll of wallpaper that was returned. If you look closely at the background, that's what it is, wallpaper. Then at the store they had a gorgeous picture hanging on the wall of trees. So again, voila, here is my card. I used Chocolate chip and Always Artichoke and wallpaper, lol!

Marvels of Nature by ISC

I made this card while Tanis, the only one to come to Thursday's class, lol, did her cards. I'm not really sure I like it, I love the layout, but I'm not thrilled with the colours. I'm going to try another one. I'm using Innovative Stamp Creation stamps to create a card to be published on their website. I've done one I just need one more to send to them. I don't think it'll be this one, lol!!

Innovative Stamp Creations Marvels of Nature

This is my second submission for the Innovative Stamp Creation sketch challenge. I stamped the trees from Marvels of Nature on the main panel of Whisper White paper. Painted them and then embossed them. I brayered sky with bashful blue and gthen Night of Navy. The stars are white gel pen. I then stamped, painted, and embossed the trees and punched them out with the circle scallop. I added silver stickles to the trees and made stars. The green ribbon is from Michaels.

Innovative Stamp Creations Marvels of Nature

I'm trying another new challenge this time from Innovative Stamp Creations. Very nice scene stamps! The challenge is here and it is a sketch challenge. The unfortunate part is I only have tree stamps from ISC and the challenge calls for flowers. However I think I did the basic part of the challenge. I think next time I'll do the trees in different shades of green so you can see them better. In real life they are awesome! I brayered the sky with ballet blue, brilliant blue and then Night of navy. The trees are stamped in basic black and then painted with Handsome Hunter. I added stars with a white gel pen. I then layer the trees. Thanks for looking!
