Snowflake Welcome

I decided to take a break from cardmaking to create this snowflake welcome
sign. My dear husband cut me 21 of these snowflakes and I've been wondering
what to do with them. Then I saw a sign at a garden centre that spelled
welcome. I would have bought it but it cost $40.00, not likely! I stamped and
embossed with very vanilla and clear embossing powder the letters and
snowflakes then sponged early espresso onto the top of the snowflakes. Its
very hard to see in the photo but because I left the inside of the snowflakes
plain it almost frames them, its really nice. After sponging I put diamond
stickles on the snowflakes and letters and then let it dry. I outlined the letter
with a white gel pen to give them more definition and lastly tied them
together. I really want to put a large bow on the top but I don't do bows very
well, especially not large ones, so I may have to buy or beg someone to do ones
for me, lol! I've entered this into Tuesday Taggers which is to make a
decoration. I know they probably meant with paper but I did stamp and
emboss it so I'm hoping they accept it, lol!

Novembers class

These are the cards for the last regular class workshop of the year! We'll be doing two Christmas cards and two gift card holders. The classes will be on Thursday November 5 or Wednesday November 11 starting at 7:00pm. The snowman gift card holder was cased from Theresa Momber found here.

Christmas gift card holder

I haven't had a lot of time to play lately I've been too busy with Halloween costumes, Christmas presents and cleaning the house (how did that get in there!) So my workshops aren't getting done like they should! I did this gift card holder last night, don't know if it will be one that we'll do in a workshop, still working out the details. But its easy, elegant and with a gift card inside a great Christmas gift!

Other: Stickles, Shimmer paint/Alcohol mix, clear embossing powder

Acetate box and card

This pretty box is clear acetate stamped with brilliance ink (just like stazon) in white with a lid and bottom. When I googled acetate box templates all I got was the ones that have cardstock on the bottom and top so the acetate is only in the middle. They're nice but I like this one better! If you go to splitcoaststampers a lot this template is in the section- anything BUT a card -right at the top- 5 in 1 template creations-. I also made an acetate card which I've never done before. I love the box, like the card. Hmm I think I've got to try a few more cards to see if I like doing them!

Christmas Card Workshop

These are the three cards for the last Christmas card workshop of this year. This workshop is a special one. It is a pre-pay workshop of $25.00. That gets you the Stampin Up Holiday Lounge Designer Paper pack, 9 cards with 9 envelopes. I will cut the paper for your cards and you take the rest of the paper home! The paper needs to be pre-ordered so I need to know if you want to do the class soon. The only thing you need to bring to class is adhesive and diamond stickles. Everything else is provided for you. Stampin Up Serene Snowflake

This is the second of three more Christmas cards we're doing in a workshop. We are using Stampin Up Holiday Lounge Designer paper. Only one more to go. This is also for a Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge found here. Have a great week
