Lemonade anyone

I needed a little pick-me-up card for one of my sons and these guys are just perfect, they are so cute! I've been wanting to make a card for three days and finally got finished at midnight last night, life just seems to be getting in the way. Really do I HAVE to cook supper AND clean, come on! LOL last night I was getting ready to create and we found a lost dog. Would someone pick him up, nope the pound answered the phone to tell us to drive him downtown, 45 mins each way. Ok I think I need the card more than my son! These gorgeous guys are from Doodle Pantry and right now they have an embellishment challenge on Crafters Digital Art Centre. If you want to play along they have a lovely free digital rose, take a look. The challenge is to do something with the corners of your card, any or all of the corners.

Dart Frog

Meet my adorable dart frog. This stamp is from Gina K Designs and I've had him a week and had to use him. Yesterday was stamp-n-play day so two friends came over and we played. I didn't know what green to use and my friend told me to look up dart frogs on google images, man are those frogs colourful! They come in all colours and this one was the least colourful. There were blues, yellows, purples, and then combinations, weird ones, like 1/2 dark blue and 1/2 bright yellow, totally wild! So I chose the least wild and made this card, lol! I've entered him into the stamptv sketch challenge and Charisma cards, which is a hot, hot, hot theme. These dart frogs come from tropical jungles where its hot, hot, hot!

I really love this adorable dog and his sign it has so much potential. So many of my sentiments fit it and I could even computer generate a sign. Prisma markers (alcohol) make colouring him sooo easy, the lines just blend away! I've entered him into two challenges first the Whimsy monthly challenge which is anything goes. The second challenge is Sketch Saturday with a very nice sketch!

Flowers for you

My son brought home a whole bunch of wallpaper books again, I've got quite a stash now lol, and I found these flowers on a border. The bottom layer is a beige paper and I found the identical border in blue. Cut out the flowers I wanted to highlight, added pearls and ribbon and you've got a gorgeous box. I'll buy some cedar balls or chips to put into the box and that should get rid of any cigar smell, I hope. If you have any other suggestions I would appreciate them. I have a "few" more cigar boxes to convert. I've entered this into One Stop Craft Challenge which is to do a non card.

Stamp: none
Paper: wallpaper
Ink: none
Other: Pearls, ribbon

Gummy Worms

I think these two guys are just hilarious! I put crystal effects on their bubble gum and it looks so much better IRL. I took the photo on an angle hoping you could see the dimension of the bubble gum but it just didn't come through. I've entered this into the CPS sketch challenge #181 and Stamp Something which is to use a digi stamp. Doodle Pantry has some adorable digital stamps you should check them out!

Wishes

I LOVE this guy, blowing the dandelion is just so adorable. I really like the sketch (stamp tv challenge) but if I were to do it again I'd add brads or ribbon to the top of the card instead of the middle. But the sketch called for the middle so...I'll have to do another one! I've entered this into the House Mouse challenge which is a photo challenge. The colours of the photo were pastels, teal, pink, purple and of course of a mouse holding a cupcake. I chose to think of it as a birthday cupcake so this is a birthday card, but no pastel colours.
Stamp: Stampabilities just dandy

Ink: green galore
