It was my middle son's birthday yesterday and this is the card I did for him. I first saw the sentiment in January in a card store and I couldn't stop laughing. I don't know which company made the card but they did a great job. I coloured the guy with watercolour pencils and then used baby oil to blend. I added crystal effects on the necklace and his eyes.

I didn't take a photo of the inside before we all signed it so I blacked out what we wrote. That's why the white inside looks funny. The sentiment is so perfect!

Good morning, can you believe its February already! A new month means a new release from Doodle Pantry with another set of Ants. My husband is going to LOVE these guys since he was a goalie forever! I printed off Hockey Puck Ants twice and cut them out to pop them up.

With Father's Day fast approaching I made this card for my husband who just came back from a 10 day fishing trip (which he thoroughly enjoyed) so this stamp was perfect for him. I changed the name of the boat from Susie Q to nothing box and added the perfect sentiment.

Armadillo armor

Its November 1st and a new release for Doodle Pantry! There are a ton of new images and I got this cute little armadillo to play with. I've never seen a real armadillo before so had to do some research on google. I found two different coloured critters, one was a blue silver and one was more a golden yellow brown. However the yellow brown armadillo had lots of long hair on his legs, it looks hilarious! Both the brown and lighter blue paper are wallpaper which gives this card so much texture. Peaceful Shores

With Father's Day just around the corner its time for masculine cards and this set is soooo perfect. Its from Clear Dollar stamps and is a digital called Peaceful Shore. I also made this for the Clearly Inspired Challenge which started yesterday AND which I originally had a card ready for. But, yes there is a but, my stamping pal saw that my card had an image that I wasn't suppose to use yet. Yikes!! Sooo the challenge was to distress a card, I had less than a day to do it, with lots going on I finally got it done a day later. This card is for the CIC#29 to distress a card AND I was distressed making it! Lol. I'm entering this card into:

One of my favorite characters is Ethel from Rubbernecker. She reminds me of Maxine and the things she can say, lol! My husband is going for shoulder surgery and this is his get well card after surgery. He'll really appreciate the inside sentiment!
