Need a Hug

Today's post is so late but there's a good reason. I wanted to spend a little quality time with my husband last night instead of doing cards, shocking I know. This is a special digital stamp, its from a set called Bunny Friends donated by Doodle Pantry. Katie Renz is a fellow crafter and has stage 4 stomach cancer. This stamp set is part of a bundle that is being offered by Jak Heath one of Katie's crafting friends. Jak has organized a special digi benefit to help raise money for Katie's chemo treatments. Take a look at the stamps (there are a lot of them and they are gorgeous) and for only 15 British pounds (approx $23.00) you get 20 SETS of stamps AND your name goes into a draw for prizes too! You help a family and get to create with fantastic stamps.
I've entered this card into Friday Sketchers, In Style Stamps which is to use purple, silver and white, Kaboodle Doodles and Stamp Something which are to use a digi, and Secret Crafter which is to use texture.

Stamp: Doodle Pantry Bunny Friends
Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Almost Amethyst, silver, whisper white, Stampin Up Hostess DP
Ink: elegant eggplant
Other: prisma markers, spellbinder labels 4, ribbon, heart embossing foldler

Old Friend

I love trees, they can be masculine and feminine. This is a thank you card for a very good friend, the inside says "Thank you not only for the big things you do but the little things too". I've used the broken glass technique because over at Stamp TV there is a great challenge going on now until Jan 2. There are 10 different challenges (techniques) and just entering even one you get a chance at 5 different prizes, sweet. If you enter the challenge using a Gina K design stamp your name goes in twice. I'm also entering this into Papertake Weekly and Cute Card Thursday which is to make a thank you, and Friday Sketches.

Stamp: Gina K Tree Silhouettes
Paper: Confetti cream, early espresso, handsome hunter, very vanilla
Ink: handsome hunter, early espresso
Other: ultra thick embossing powder, ribbon, Stampin Up corner and scallop oval punches, cuttlebug clockworks and argyll embossing folders, spellbinders classic/scallop circles

A Shy Thank You

My son is a computer programmer so this image was perfect for him. I've asked him to make some changes to my computer and to work his magic, lol! He says I'm "special" because I'm the only person he knows of who's had the "pink" screen of death instead of the dreaded blue screen. The whole screen just turned a bright pink, lol, he's like "What!" It was pretty funny! So this is his thank you card for helping me. I've entered this into Squigglefly and Stamp Something challenges both of which are thank you cards, Friday Sketches, Crazy4 challenges which is using script, and A Spoon Full of Sugar which is anything goes.

Paper: Basic black, ballet blue, whisper white
Ink: craft ballet blue, craft/classic basic black
