Sleepy Bear

Shy Bears are just so adorable I want them all! I couldn't decide if I wanted a sentiment I was thinking "Just one more story please" or "Lullaby and goodnight" but simple and no sentiment finally won out. The inside says "Congratulations on your new baby" The colour doesn't show through very well I used Taken withTteal and its so blue in the photo, which is still pretty but IRL its fantastic! I've entered this into Squigglefly Challenge which is to edge your borders, Crafts 4 Eternity which is to use dots, Penny's Paper-Crafty challenge blog which is anything goes, and Creative Craft World which is cute and cuddly.

Stamp: ShyBear Sleepy Time Bear, Cornish Heritage Farms Aged sheet music
Paper: Taken with Teal, whisper white
Ink: craft taken with teal

A Shy Thank You

My son is a computer programmer so this image was perfect for him. I've asked him to make some changes to my computer and to work his magic, lol! He says I'm "special" because I'm the only person he knows of who's had the "pink" screen of death instead of the dreaded blue screen. The whole screen just turned a bright pink, lol, he's like "What!" It was pretty funny! So this is his thank you card for helping me. I've entered this into Squigglefly and Stamp Something challenges both of which are thank you cards, Friday Sketches, Crazy4 challenges which is using script, and A Spoon Full of Sugar which is anything goes.

Paper: Basic black, ballet blue, whisper white
Ink: craft ballet blue, craft/classic basic black

with sympathy shy bear

I had seen the squigglefly challenge to do a sympathy card but had not got around to it. Unfortunately now I will need one so here's my card. The challenge ends tonight so I'm posting twice today. The challenge is to do a simple and clean sympathy card in browns and ivory. The mailbox is sand with a hint of orange and yes I goofed with the yellow flowers and letter. I checked and the DT cards had a bit of color too so I think I'm ok, lol.

Fiesta Bear

Squigglefly has a challenge on their paper craft planet site, the challenge is to "case" a card. I've tried linking Marlene Shaw's card here but it doesn't work. So the only way to see the original card is to go to paper craft planet, click on groups, squigglefly and then case a DT member challenge. Anyone can play, you have 2 days left and the winner receives a gorgeous hand drawing by the artist of Shybears, Lynne Stansbery. I LOVE shybears what a fabulous gift!

ShyBear bubble bath

Another day, another shybear! Squigglefly is releasing more shybears next week, hmmm, I love these guys! I had painted this one a while ago for a challenge and never got around to finishing the card. Another challenge came up that I could use him for so I got to finish him. Squigglefly's challenge is to use piercing on your card. I had more holes on the front panel but I didn't like the finished look that's why there is now blue on the front instead of just pink. Love how you can cover up dislikes so easily. Second challenge is from Saturday Secret Crafter and that is to add metal, which for me is brads.
Stamps: Squigglefly shybear bubble bath
Paper: Pacific point, tempting turquoise, pretty in pink, whisper white
Ink: pretty in pink, regal rose, pacific point, tempting turquoise, creamy caramel, chocolate chip
Other: brads, crystal effects, Stampin up round corner punch, cuttlebug d'vine swirls, piercing tool

Peek-a-boo

This adorable digital stamp is from Squigglefly and is one of many Shybears you can purchase. I have a lot of them, not all, yet...,but a lot of them. This is suppose to be a Christmas digital you can see the hat in the bottom right hand corner. I coloured it teal but if you coloured it red, perfect for Christmas. The challenges I'm entering are Squigglefly's blue and green challenge as well as Stamptv's Monday challenge. For Monday's challenge you had to pick which colours you would use from a lot of different colours. The green is slightly brighter than Tina's card but its close.
Stamp: Squigglefly Shy Bears Peek-a-boo
Paper: basic black, taken with teal, tempting turquoise, green galore
Ink: none
Other: prisma markers, brads, ribbon, cuttlebug candycane embossing folder

Time to Shop

I just love this image of Crissy Armstrong's; Oswalda is just adorable! I do a lot of cards that just have an image on the front, nothing else, so that I can put anything on the inside. This can be a birthday, thinking of you, want to go stamp shopping card, lol! I entered this card for two challenges, the first is Crissy Armstrong's new challenge blog Sundays with Crissy. This is her second challenge and it was to use dots. I used the Stampin up Perfect dots embossing folder and added dots to Oswalda's hat and purse. The second challenge is with Squigglefly which sells Crissy Armstrong digital stamps (Oswalda). They have a couple of challenge blogs, one that is open to everyone and one on SNR card universe which you need to be a member of. Its free and its fun to do the challenges of a lot of stamping groups. Squigglefly's challenge this week was to use glitter. I put glitter on Oswalda's necklace, eyelids, ribbon on her hat and the spots on the stampin up background. Lots of glitter!
Stamp: Squigglefly Oswalda goes shopping
Paper: Barely banana, night of navy, whisper white
Ink: Summer sun, night of navy
