Belated Birthday

I made this card for my future DIL, its so perfect for her! I got the background (fence, spraypaint cans, and exposed brick from the Graffiti Release of Make it Crafty and Little Miss Muffet stamps. I bought the girl from Make it Crafty and created the happy birthday from a free graffiti font. 

I cut out the girl to pop her up along with 3 of the spray cans.

Happy Sweet Day

Good morning! Today starts a new month (hopefully no more snow) and a new release from Doodle Pantry. I got to play with this gorgeous Fruit Star. I coloured the image myself and cut out to pop up the white flowers, cherries and the bottom pear (because I messed up colouring it). I decided on a gate fold card, the flowers and sentiment keep the front closed. I added rhinestones for a little bling otherwise its pretty simple.

A Trumpet Vine Congratulations

Happy December 1, which brings a new release from Doodle Pantry, only 24 sleeps until Christmas, and a Congratulations on Your Engagement card. What! My youngest son proposed to his girlfriend Samantha and this is the card I made for them. Congratulations Steven and Sam! It also happens to be one of Doodle Pantry's new release stamps the Trumpet Vine.

I sprayed the background paper with  smooch glitter and cut out the trumpet vine as well as popped it up. 

Its a gorgeous stamp great for any occasion, especially an engagement, lol. I'm so excited!

What a good morning it is, I got an extra hour to sleep in, yes! Good bye daylight savings time. Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Sentimental Sundays and the challenge is dimensions. I printed Doodle Pantry's Poinsettia off 3 times and cut out sections to pop up, embossed the background and added stickles. I was up late last night doing this card and I almost always use a sentiment. OF course for this card I forgot. Sentimental Sundays requires a sentiment so I'm off to add one and change my photo, lol!

I've never done a Criss Cross card before and my friend Glenda, who does fantastic cards on Gilby's Corner has done many of them, so I decided I'd better give it a try! Punched Bear Valentine

I made this bear for one of my workshops, with very little stamping, AND for my husband lol! I've already made my valentine gift, yeah! I made a second bear, changed colours and voila a baby box. I found this bear on the Paper Punch Addition site but do you think I could find it again, noooo! I looked forever and never found it again. Its fast and easy but I certainly can't lay claim to creating it, just changing the colour and putting it on a mini pizza box. Too cute!

Just Relax

I took this photo on a real slant so you could see all the bling, nice and sparkly! I got to use a new stamp and a new punch, sweet. I embossed the white with d'vine swirls and then used chaulk to darken the swirls. I also used the chaulk to take the white glare off the background. Sorry this post is late, I went out early Christmas shopping. Got lots of groceries, not so much Christmas stuff but we had fun. But this little guy doesn't look like he's having fun he has such a woe begone look on his face, lol, Christmas is just too much for him. The inside says "The silly season is almost done Merry Christmas!!" I love Christmas it is my favorite time of the year but for some people its stressful, this guys for them. Isn't this guy adorable, he was a freebie from Bugaboo stamps a couple of weeks ago. There's a whole series of Eggbert stamps, but I think this one is the cutest. Once finished I sprayed him with the smooch mix so he's sparkly like fresh snow. I've entered this into Crafts 4 eternity which is a recipe challenge, to use the sketch, use blue and use silver. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring its first ever challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ and I definitely wanted to participate. This sentiment is the inspiration of the challenge, which you can find at Doodle Pantry, and the challenge is to make a thank you card, with any image and does not have to be religious. The prize is a $10.00 gift certificate for Doodle Pantry stamps, awesome! I also entered this into Kaboodle doodles, Charisma Cardz and Stampin for the weekend challenges which are all fall colours.
