Sorry Dad

Isn't this little guy just adorable! Normally Clear Dollar Stamps new release is on the 15th but this month today is the lucky day. I love humour and the sentiments that come with this guy are so perfect. I made this card for my Dad's 80th birthday. He always stresses that he wants no presents, nothing, because he has everything so the inside of the card says
I'm going to print off some of the dollars then shred them and glue them to the inside. Thank goodness they don't look real it might give my dad a heart attack!
I LOVE the paper I used for the front, its actually all wallpaper except for the paper with the goat on it, way too cool. IRL it looks like hide and the colours match my goat. I printed the goat twice and then cut him out and popped him up.
Go on over and take a look at all the new releases as well as what the other DT's have made. I've entered this card into:
Corrosive Challenge: birthday card
Paper Sundaes: birthday card

Let's Party

These ants from Doodle Pantry are the best and I love them on this disco ball, lol! I haven't decided what I'm putting on the inside yet, but it'll be nasty and about old people. I put diamond stickles on this ball and tried to keep it off of the black lines but on the top and bottom you can see where the black ink bled. I LOVE stickles but the only thing is on printed images sometimes the glue makes the ink bleed, "sigh". In this case I think it enhanced the image, IRL it looks awesome! I've entered this into the Corrosive Challenge (Doodle Pantry is sponsoring this week) which is to Bling it on, Sunday sketch & stamp , Papertake weekly which is anything goes and Digital Tuesday, which is let's celebrate.

Stamp: Doodle Pantry Disco Ball Ants, Stampin Up Fundamental Phrases
Paper: basic black, cherry cobbler, whisper white
Ink: cherry cobbler
Other: Stampin Up ballet chaulk, ticket punch, silver cord, perfect dots embossing folder and oval punches, diamond and red stickles, prisma markers

Sorry this post is late, I went out early Christmas shopping. Got lots of groceries, not so much Christmas stuff but we had fun. But this little guy doesn't look like he's having fun he has such a woe begone look on his face, lol, Christmas is just too much for him. The inside says "The silly season is almost done Merry Christmas!!" I love Christmas it is my favorite time of the year but for some people its stressful, this guys for them. Strawberry Pie

OK there is a story behind this card. I had everything done ready to post, almost. I wanted to add red stickles so went ahead and did so (being silly it was already taped together this was an after thought) The stickles burbed a couple of times and really didn't come out very good BUT that was ok because I've fixed cards before when its happened. HOWEVER the phone rang as soon as I started to fix it. The hospital called saying I could have my MRI 2 months early if I could get there in 20 mins. You have never seen anyone move so fast!! I raced down the hall and we flu out of the house. I got my MRI and came back to a non satisfactory card background but I don't care, lol!! I'm just too happy to care. Soooo...I needed a thank you card and these juicy strawberries from Doodle Pantry looked great. I combined two of the sentiments so the inside says "You are sweet as strawberry pie, Thank you berry much." Too cute or what! I've entered this into the Corrosive Challenge this week which is a sketch challenge (Doodle Pantry is also one of the sponsors of the challenge) and Stamp Something's challenge this week which is to use a digi stamp.

Paper: whisper white, cherry cobbler
