Thanks for the push

This is my second last post for Doodle Pantry this month as a guest designer, "sigh". (I'm going to try for one more on Thursday) My son asked me to make him a card for his boss who is leaving the company at the end of the month. Steven is a computer programmer and so is his boss, so... I couldn't resist! Believe it or not I actually hadn't done a card with these guys yet, how perfect is that! And I made the card red, white, and blue, 1 because its masculine but 2 because Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Paper Playtime Challenge and the theme for the challenge is using a digi which is red, white and blue! Hop on over and take a look! I've also entered this into:

But, yes there is a but, my stamping pal saw that my card had an image that I wasn't suppose to use yet. Yikes!! Sooo the challenge was to distress a card, I had less than a day to do it, with lots going on I finally got it done a day later. Sorry Dad

Isn't this little guy just adorable! Normally Clear Dollar Stamps new release is on the 15th but this month today is the lucky day. I love humour and the sentiments that come with this guy are so perfect. I made this card for my Dad's 80th birthday. He always stresses that he wants no presents, nothing, because he has everything so the inside of the card says
I'm going to print off some of the dollars then shred them and glue them to the inside. Thank goodness they don't look real it might give my dad a heart attack!
I LOVE the paper I used for the front, its actually all wallpaper except for the paper with the goat on it, way too cool. IRL it looks like hide and the colours match my goat. I printed the goat twice and then cut him out and popped him up.
Go on over and take a look at all the new releases as well as what the other DT's have made. I've entered this card into:

Wedding Purse

This is a Just Inklined stamp and totally gorgeous! It's also the largest card I've ever done at 8" x 4 1/4". Just Inklined on CADC (Crafters digital art centre) is having a guest dt call and all you have to do is create two cards, one that is serious and one funny, my funny card will be posted tomorrow. I printed the stamp out twice and then cut out the flowers, ribbon and leaves to pop them up. I added stickles to the ribbon and roses and then pearls for the baby's breathe. The embossing folder compliments the purse design perfectly. I had started to follow a sketch but by the time it was done, not so much, lol! I've entered this into:

Going Sailing

This is the first time I've tried a triple easel card, it took me forever! I followed the instructions here and changed the instructions just a bit and that's what took me so long. There is a hidden panel under the little mouse, the panel turns and voila there's another panel.
Is that not so sweet! I tried three mouse panels before I settled on this one AND the string still didn't line up! Sigh! At least I'm sure that my niece will love this card. I'm entering this into Charisma Cardz birthday card for a teen, Kaboodle Doodles, Stamp Something, and Stampin with the Dragon all bring on spring, Crafts 4 eternity make something hidden, Penny Black Saturday challenge recycle (I used scrap pieces of vellum for the butterflies)
