I've been working on this project for 2 weeks now and I think its finally done! It's so very colourful and at one point I thought I had waaaay too many dragonflies on it so I asked Sam (my son's girlfriend, the pictures for her but she doesn't know it) and she said there weren't enough dragonflies, lol! I added one more and I like it.

I will be doing two more pictures both 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 I just haven't decided whether I'm mounting them on wood or putting them in a scrapbook frame. I made this specifically for a challenge over at Make it Crafty where they are having a month long 1 year celebration. The challenge is for merging images. I started with the mushroom house in the background, then the pond lily in front. I did the right side with forest flower, flipped it and put forest flower on the left side. The main sheet I printed twice so I could cut out different sections and pop them up. I separated the dragonfly and printed out different sizes onto a transparency sheet, cut them out and coloured them with stickles. I printed out the frog and added him to the lily pad. The only embellishment I added were rhinestone dragonflies I found at the dollar store and stickles, lots of stickles. I really like how it turned out and can't wait to start on the next one!
