Bugaboo Birdie

Good morning, its Saturday which means a new challenge at Catch the Bug and its a photo challenge! 

I chose to use the colours and bird as my inspiration and used Bugaboo's Bugaboo Birdie which I printed out twice to pop up her bow and the butterfly.

Ladybug Daisy

Good morning, its the beginning of a new month which means a new release from Doodle Pantry! I love creating scenes with stamps and the new stamp set On the Road was perfect for me. Dream Big

Good morning! A new month means a new release from Doodle Pantry and what a great release it is! I played with Carousel Horse 4 which I coloured, cut out the mane, tail and ribbons to pop up. One of my sons (I won't say who...Steven) said its not very feminine but I like the colour combo quite a bit!

I was playing with pencils and baby oil again and this Doodle Pantry Water Otter cutie is what I came up with. IRL the fur looks really mottled and textured. I used a water stamp on the background and crimped the centre.

Loves Ornament

Good morning! Today starts another challenge at Clearly iStamp (I'm a guest designer again!) and with the US July 4th holiday just around the corner their theme is making a project in the colours Red, White and Blue. Since our holiday would be red and white (Canada July 1) I decided to make a Christmas card in the three colours. This gorgeous ornament from Clearly Digi Stamps is called Loves Ornament and comes in b/w, coloured with 3 sentiments and 3 papers.

 

I cut out the ornament and popped it up onto the background. I used liquid pearls on the background but used regular pearls on the ornament. I sprayed the ornament and background with smooch. Drop on by Clearly iStamp and give their challenge a try!

Good morning! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Sister Act Card Challenge and their theme is anything goes... perfect! I had to make some cards that could be used for Mother's Day for Send a Smile 4 Kids Canada and Doodle Pantry's Wild Rose was a great choice. I printed the image onto whisper white cardstock and used prisma pencils and baby oil to colour them. Love how they turned out, fast, east and elegant!

Floating by...

Good morning, today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Dutch Dare Card Challenge and their theme is Birthday Fun. For my card I used Float yer Goat, because really what is more fun than seeing a floating goat, lol! I used the sentiment from Float yer goat and masked the Hi and added three dots. The Happy Birthday is from Stampin Up. I used the new cloud embossing folder and spellbinders.

OK see the little clear dot above the word floating...well its his eye! I had put epoxy dots on his eyes and took photos but decided to remove them I didn't like them but continued to take photos. I should also say I'm doing this at midnight and I'm tired. So I'm cropping the photo and voila there's an extra clear dot in the sentiment. Well I guess I didn't remove the dots very well and I'm not taking more photos, it just adds to the card, lol!

Rejuvenate

This is the 3rd straight day that's its snowed here and its time to rejuvenate, lol, preferably some place warm! This card had a couple of firsts for me, with the first time that watercolouring has worked with a digi stamp. I must use too much water because my images always seem to bleed. However this time I used Doodle Pantry's Palm Tree and stamped it three times and added water and sand to the scene; it turned out quite nicely! Secondly a stamping buddy showed me how to use word and create my own sentiments with wrap text rather than using paint.net. I love how that turned out too!

Snow Friends

This stamp is from Beccy's Place and is so perfect for our family of 5, lol! The snowflake is a memory box die and is gorgeous. I cut out three and then cut them apart to layer them under the snowmen.
